The stay was wonderful, and Judith has thought about pretty much everything you might need while you are there. Communication was great. Would highly receommend a someone to stay here. On Sunday we both had wished I would have booked a 3rd night it was so comfortable. We would love to come back this fall when the leaves start to change colors, and it's cool enough at night to use the outdoor firepit. I would say we will definitely be back.

It... read more is (as stated in the listing) in the middle of nowhere, so it helps to come prepared with groceries for home cooked meals. Everything was cozy, clean, and in good condition. My only issue was when we arrived, there was a very strong cleaning product smell which most people love, I’m just weird and have a bit of a sensitivity to strong smells. But it was nothing some fresh air couldn’t fix! Also, if you are bringing a pet, be sure to read the care instructions beforehand. We made the mistake of not doing so and failed to bring a crate, but we just ended up bringing him out on our adventures with us and Judith offers other options for your pet as well.

Now listen...it isn't in the middle of a lot of things and it is a little off the beaten path, but when... read more you arrive to this beautiful home and get a look at the vistas provided by the hills of Kentucky and the skyline afforded you by your altitude, it is amazing. And no one usually wants rain when on vacation...but if you are fortunate, there will be a thunderstorm that rolls in so you can see the lightening across the hills, the sound of the rolling thunder, and the sound of rain hitting their metal roof. It was amazing. I think it dropped my blood pressure to what my doctor would agree would be healthy levels. Beautiful home. Wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Host was very responsive to any questions we had pre arrival and during the stay.
Internet service is spotty at times but we wanted to be disconnected for the most part so it didn’t bother us.
Overall a wonderful stay and more than likely we will return again.
