And no one usually wants rain when on vacation...but if you are fortunate, there will be a thunderstorm that rolls in so you can see the lightening across the hills, the sound of the rolling thunder, and the sound of rain hitting their metal roof. It was amazing. I think it dropped my blood pressure to what my doctor would agree would be healthy levels. Beautiful home. Wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots and pans. Would recommend bringing anything you want to cook with you. Not very close to restaurants or grocery stores. Beautiful scenery surrounding the entire place.
Host was very responsive to any questions we had pre arrival and during the stay.
Internet service is spotty at times but we wanted to be disconnected for the most part so it didn’t bother us.
Overall a wonderful stay and more than likely we will return again.

It... read more is (as stated in the listing) in the middle of nowhere, so it helps to come prepared with groceries for home cooked meals. Everything was cozy, clean, and in good condition. My only issue was when we arrived, there was a very strong cleaning product smell which most people love, I’m just weird and have a bit of a sensitivity to strong smells. But it was nothing some fresh air couldn’t fix! Also, if you are bringing a pet, be sure to read the care instructions beforehand. We made the mistake of not doing so and failed to bring a crate, but we just ended up bringing him out on our adventures with us and Judith offers other options for your pet as well.

Enjoy a cup of coffee or a cocktail on the incredible front porch while listening to roosters crowing in the distance, nightly visits from the cows in the pastor across the gravel road, and sleep in on one of the most comfortable beds in the world (seriously need this bedding and mattress at home!)
