The location itself is incredibly peaceful. At night, you can hear the soothing sounds of the animals, and during the day, the bird chirping creates a beautiful, serene atmosphere. We arrived just in time to witness a breathtaking sunset, which set the tone for our entire stay.
One of our favorite parts of the trip was having breakfast outside at the table, where we were often visited by a friendly chicken. It added a delightful touch to our mornings. The view from the property is stunning, and we enjoyed every moment spent soaking in the natural beauty.
The host was amazing—extremely nice and accommodating. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

It’s was a... read more great location between Lexington/Louisville/Bardstown. Everything was about 35-45 minutes. We even drove to mammoth caves for a day and that was about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was nice to do day trips but come back and relax at night! Place is exactly as described/shown in pictures. Very clean and we had everything we needed! Judith was a great host! Communicated well and was very prompt if we needed anything! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful romantic getaway!

The reviews weren’t lying when they said the mattress was heaven! Best nights sleep at an air bnb either of us have had. Surroundings are private, beautiful, and peaceful. The place was super clean when we arrived and very well stocked with supplies in the kitchen and even some condiments, spices, and some extra snacks. We utilized the grill and the campfire. They were even nice enough to run over some extra firewood for us at a moments notice! We met all the cows and fed them some treats. Great place to stay if you are looking for some peace and quiet! We went on morning walks with our dog who had a great time exploring the property. It... read more is (as stated in the listing) in the middle of nowhere, so it helps to come prepared with groceries for home cooked meals. Everything was cozy, clean, and in good condition. My only issue was when we arrived, there was a very strong cleaning product smell which most people love, I’m just weird and have a bit of a sensitivity to strong smells. But it was nothing some fresh air couldn’t fix! Also, if you are bringing a pet, be sure to read the care instructions beforehand. We made the mistake of not doing so and failed to bring a crate, but we just ended up bringing him out on our adventures with us and Judith offers other options for your pet as well.
